Save The Maui's Dolphin!

  • by: Jorie Lefler
  • recipient: Prime Minister John Key, of New Zealand

If the species of Maui’s Dolphins die out, they are dead for good. There’s no coming back. If these Maui’s Dolphins die out, will we, humans, ever be able to face the shame? If these Maui’s Dolphins die out, they will be the first cetaceans to die out because of human causes. Do we really want that? Do we want the guilt on our shoulders of stopping an innocent life, of killing something that need not be killed? Do we want to kill the Maui’s Dolphin?

You should sign this petition only if you care about these Maui’s Dolphins, not just because you’re bored. I don’t want you to sign the petition only because you want to look like you care. Only sign this petition if you actually do care about what happens to these dolphins that never did anything to you, who seem like disposable playthings, and are forever cursed to wear a sad smile on their faces.
