Dodge City needs a Doggie Daycare!

Dodge City needs a Doggie Daycare for the availability of good care for their pets.  there are only two facilities that board animals and they are strictly put into cages for the entire time of boarding.  People have asked for a place where they may take thier pets to be played with, groomed and cared for while they are busy. The animals get alot of attention and socialization as to where they do not get this type of care in kennels.  Most animals tend to be hyperactive and a daycare would help them get exercise, love, attenion and allow them to play with other dogs.  This teaches respect, obedience, patience and trust.

Dodge City has great tourist attractions but many travel with their pets.  They are unable to go anywhere that does not allow pets because there is nowhere to keep them for a few hours such as the museum at Boothill.  A doggie Daycare would allow these people to leave their dog in good care and they could go enjoy the attractions in Dodge City.  Therefore, helping the economy in our city.  I have been told that this type of service has been asked for many times with no avail because there is no place to take their pets.

A doggie Daycare in a residential area would not be a problem.  The animals would only be outside for 15 minutes at a time and I am familiar with the barking laws in Dodge City.  They would be watched constantly.  If there is a problem there will be kennels to put them in time-out and they possibly would not be able to attend next time.  Anyone who works with animals knows ways to deal with them.  I truly think that a Doggie Daycare would be good for Dodge City in many ways.
