Save our World before its to late.

1. It is time that the world wakes up to reality. Global warming is a fact not fiction.
2. Unnecessary pollution is causing massive problems with our air quality.
3. Cutting down the worlds forests is causing the loss of habitat for animals, birds and insects, which we need to help keep alive for future generations, They are also necessary to help cultivate the soil.
4. Without trees many hilly areas will become prone to landslides, as there will be no roots to prevent soil errosion. This in turn will cause even more pollution to the natural water supply.
. With no trees, no animals or birds, tourists will no longer have a need to visit numerous countries, which will result in a drastic reduction in income for both governments and its citizens.
6. In scientific circles it is a well known fact that there is not enough water in the world to support the present rate of population growth.  Newer methods or irrigation are needed ASAP if not sooner. People need to know, that is those who are lucky enough to have running water in their houses, that unless urgent action is taken, their taps could run dry.
7. Many rivers, especially in China are so polluted they are not safe to drink from. Urgent action is required to first stop further pollution and then to cleanse all polluted rivers, streams and seas.
8. Mainly due to the the increase in wealth of thousands of Chinese people, poaching of various animals including elephants, tigers and rhinos is reaching critical levels. Unless something is done about this, these animals will be extinct in the near future. Later generations will only be able to see them in books, as there will be none left in the wild. Some of these animals are presently being killed in what was once thought safe areas. Now there are none.
9. Fracking, is something that many people know nothing about. This is largely due to governments not informing their citizens as they are more interested in short time monetary gains, than the long term effects on its citizens. Various reports suggest all kinds of health problems are accurring due to Fracking. These include, cancer, radiation, lung and respitory  problems, and polluution of water supplies. As there are presently little investigation carried out on the long term effects of Fracking, with what there is being kept from the public, we the general public have no idea what is happening underground. It has already been stated that a number of small earthquakes have been caused by Fracking.
This should be stopped immediately, until a full and independant scientific investigation has been undertaken, with of course the results published for all to see.
