- On november 24 our just turned one year old husky mix named koda jumped up on a 8 year old boy in our home, the boy and his sister are friends with our children. The boy was injured and did require stitches along with a few surface scratches. The boy had a history of tormenting the dog, on the day of the incident the mother of the boy wanted them to sleepover and my wife twice told her I don't feeel comfortable with koda around your son but my wife finally gave in. On November 26th the mother and her children came down hugged my wife and the boy said it was my fault I shouldn't have been in his face and the mother stated dont get rid of your dog he is part of your family. The city now has him in quarantine and have proclaimed him dangerous and if we dont win the appeal on Dec 17th they are going to destroy him even though he has no prior history of violence. We have 4 children ourselves whom he had never been aggressive with, please help us save koda he's a good boy. Thank you.
