Ban Smoking in Public

Public smoking is a problem for non-smokers. Most non-smokers cannot tolerate the smell of cigarette smoke because it causes them nausea. Also, passive smoking is dangerous to health. Why should non-smokers bear the brunt of the bad habits of others?
In Europe, there is smoke on the streets, train stations, restaurants which simply vexes the non-smokers and makes it hard for them to breathe peacefully. Children are becoming their target too.
Public smoking is an ignominious act and must be curbed. Countries like India and Japan have already banned it. I appeal that public smoking be banned in Europe too. It should be restricted to people's own private spaces, or enclosed smoking cabinets should be placed on the streets to let people smoke.
Europe is a place where everyone wants to enjoy strolling on the streets, sitting on the terrace of the restaurants. It is not possible until public smoking is banned.
