Pet Groomer claim my Pomeranian died and she had her cremated, We need change NOW!

Hello everyone allow me to introduce myself. I'm Miss Sabrina of Memphis. I'm a still grieving former Pom mom.
Josie was her name. At 8wks she came into my life up until her now would be 12th year. She was my best friend, she was my everything.
And YES I'm still tender about it, but last year I had an horrible pet boarding/grooming experience.
Josie went to her pet groomer for her regular bathing and grooming but this time my baby never returned. The pet groomer said she died in her sleep, I get there she is gone. A couple of hours later I receive a text message from her that read she left and went ahead to the pet cemetery before she started smelling. She quickly blocked and stop answering my calls. This pet groomer even blocked me on all forms of social media. I haven't seen her nor my baby since.
I am pleading for our state representatives to rescue us all with their legislative's power to pass strict pet grooming regulations at a state and federal level. Also a licensing act that will require pet groomers to be licensed by the state of Tennessee while operating at both sate and federal law. My baby is gone at the hands of a another negligent unconcerned pet groomer demonstrating malicious behavior as well as concealment.
Support this petition as we journey toward legislation, because you never know; it could happen to you or someone you know if you are not aware.

Update #11 years ago
Greetings beautiful people. I can never forget the sudden suffocation from the deadly force of CORONA VIRUS. On top of that pain the entire world shutdown and my pet groomer shut down my world. March 2020 seems just like yesterday. After a year of waiting out the long wait for civil proceedings, I was finally given a court date to face my pet groomer in hopes of closure. However, she chose to not show for any court hearings. Thank you so much for your digital signature support. Josie's Mom
