Stop killing our Animals - Find Another Way!
Fantastic news - at last a compassionate Farming Minister - Vegetarian Jim Fitzpatrick (appointed in June 2009) will report to Environment Secretary Hilary Benn, who does not eat meat either here in the UK.
Meat production accounts for 18 per cent of annual greenhouse gas emissions, outstripping transportation at 14 per cent. Millions of acres of rain forest are cleared for cattle and to grow animal feed each year, which accelerates climate change. The methane emitted from animals is 23 times worse for the atmosphere than carbon dioxide.
We want Mr Fitzpatrick to embrace some of the less destructive, modern, cleaner, organic and fair trade farming methods being developed around the world. These advanced methods are kinder to the environment, Eco-systems, health and future of our planet and prohibit the killing of animals. Please sign this petition and tell our Minister to introduce new caring farming principals and methods.

Please find another way of farming! We must stop killing our animals. If you do you will be blessed. And you will help slow down global warming. Thank you so much! We need our animals.
Meat is murder. Not only of the animals kiled but of all of us because to raise farm animals for meat is killig the envionment!
If you don't sotp breeding and killing innocent, sensitive animals out of compassion, at least do it to save ourt future. We are all on a jounrney on this Earth together. Science has proved that a carnivore diet is not sustainable on our planet. Thank you.
When will people understand that it's far more healthy to have a veg or vegan lifestyle? Animals have feelings - veggies don't!!! And meat eaters should all be forced to watch what goes on in a slaughterhouse - then see how you feel putting that forkful of meat to your mouth!!!
This has gone on for too long. It's about time we do something about it. What humans are doing to this planet is unprecedented. We’re not making headway, we’re losing big time. Stop killing the planet and the animals.
