Unfortunately another skatepark has bite the dust in our city of chatsworth. We have had only 2 indoor skateparks and neither of them have lasted for more than 3 years its a shame. It's time now for the city of chatsworth to jump in and help its fellow skateboarder's. As a long time resident of Chatsworth,CA. I always grew up wishing there can be a public skatepark in chatsworth. I would travel miles and miles with my dad to skate at other public parks but wish i can just go less than a mile to one. The San Fernando Valley is extremely notorious for skateboarding spots and having famous skateboard pro's rising up from the valley and making changes everywhere in society. Los Angeles is the mecca of skateboarding. Imagine a skateboard park in Chatsworth, CA. That tourists would fly in just to come skate. I Brandon Guzman-Sanchez, am trying to be the change in this community. Skateboarding has been seen as such a crime. In the eyes of non-skateboarders, but skateboarding is far from a crime and a misconception to those that aren't a skate boarder. Skateboarding is a healthy gateway drug to escape from the hard times of reality. A antidepressant, and a career. Where a kid can pick up a piece of wood with titanium trucks and urethane wheels and metal berrings, can become the CEO of his own company. Where he or she can inspire others to become professional athlete's and make a career for themselves. City of Chatsworth, and Los Angeles County and Everywhere, We need your help to make a change and to be a blessing onto youth and adult lives in Chatsworth, CA.
