We want the old Haunted Mansion attic scene back!

In 2005, the Haunted Mansion at Disneyland underwent some great changes in celebration of the parks 50th anniversary. This included great now effects including Madame Leota's now floating head. The changes went through 2006, and the next change was to a fan favorite scene in the ride; the attic. The attic had a dark atmosphere, as it was an unfinished attic, complete with junk and boxes everywhere. You could hear a beating heart echoing throughout the scene, and when you least expected it, a screeching ghoul would emerge from a trunk. There were around five of these in the scene. As you were about to exit the dark and eerie room, you would see the source of the heartbeat; a blank-faced bride with glowing eyes whos heart beat red through he white dress. This was truly a suspenseful and great scene. In 2006 however, the upgrade to this room would tarnish its suspensefullness. The eerie shrieking ghouls were removed and replaced with changing portraits. The mute and creepy bride was replaced with a demented talking one, and with a very poor projection effect. Walt Disney World's identical attic scene was soon given these upgrades too. Sign this petition if you want Disney to bring back the creepy ambiance of the old Marc Davis-Inspired attic scene!
