Boost Annual Funding For Irish Animal Centre

Please sign and share this petition worldwide in an effort to help the Irish Animal Centre that is in desperate need of further funding so that they can continue their work in saving, protecting, caring for and helping pets to find much need forever homes. The centre is currently in peril if not given the extra funding and support crucial to their work.

The Irish animal centre, Mullinahone in Co Tipperary, is currently the home to more than 100 dogs with more homeless pets brought in daily. Many of the dogs brought in are retired racing dogs, the greyhounds. The centre is trying negotiations with the greyhound board to help financially but much more is needed through the Agriculture and Rural Development organization and the public.

Ms. Hetherington from PAWS has made a plea to the public seeking more funds necessary in keeping the Mullinahone Centre in Co Tipperary running and providing a much needed service to the community. Along with a recent campaign addressing the public, we are ask the Minister for Agriculture and Rural Development to help boost annual funding for the Irish animal centre. You can help us in our goals to save the Mullinahone Centre in Co Tipperary by signing and sharing this petition on all media sites worldwide. Let’s speak loudly and get the results necessary to help unfortunate animals in Ireland.



Michelle O’Neill MLA, Minister for Agriculture and Rural Development – We encourage you to help the Mullinahone Centre in Co Tipperary animal centre by boosting some funding so that they can continue the crucial, selfless work that they do. Work with government organizations that would be willing to extend some support while also promoting more campaigns designed to generate the help, donations and support of your community. No one will want to see this animal centre shut down due to lack of funds and exemplifying the difficulties they endure without funding and the need to stay open, the people and government organizations, including the Agriculture and Rural Development organization will open their hearts and wallets. Unfortunate animals deserve the continued help this animal centre provides so ensure more is done to boost funding that will keep this facility up and running for a very long time!
