Year 12 is a stressful time for every student, no one can deny that. So, why add on to that stress by forcing the students to read this travesty of literature? It is not healthy to be under that enormous amount of stress while simultaneously having to endure countless hours of reading (I use the word "reading" loosely, as it more of a torturous experience). There are many other suitable reading options that Year 12's could study, but for some odd reason the schools still continue to force this upon us.
