Polar bears are considered a symbol of threatened nature also by climate change. In freedom live still estimated about 20 000 to 25 000 of the threatened animals.
Instead of doing everything to protect polar bears in their natural habitat, polar bears are locked up in zoos.
And the claim of the zoo that the polar bear breeding program serves the protection of the species is false, because polar bears born in captivity can not be released into the wild !
Enough scandals ! We demand that finally is acted !
I Demand: close Zoo Berlin and convert the Zoo to a animal Sanctuary !
What you can do:
-Do not visit zoos.
-Encourage the zoos to close the zoos and convert them into sanctuaries/live farms.
-Report abuses to the appropriate authority.
-Distribute flyers in front of the zoos.
-Write letters to the editor to your local press and put pressure on those responsible.
-Inform your friends about the scandalous background of this zoo and the suffering of the animals in captivity.
