Algeria and Tunisia, Stop Forcing Victims to Marry their Rapists!

Asking rape victims to marry their rapists is unconscionable. Allowing the rapist to marry their teenage victims is wrong for the victim in a multitude of ways.

Rapists shouldn't be legally sanctioned to torment their victims further and escape punishment.

Allowing these laws to remain on the books and enforcing them makes these young women into lifelong victims. And letting these perpetrators to escape justice by furthering their crimes is ridiculous. Tell Algerian and Tunisian officials to remove these laws and stop further victimization of these young rape victims.

Dear Sirs,

We the undersigned ask that you repeal laws that encourage further victimization of young rape victims.
