Demand an end to the Bear Hunt, now!

Florida's governor Rick Scott has allowed a hunt for bears. Bears would be killed off at first sight. In 2015, 304 bears were killed according to Stephen Hudak from the Orlando Sentinel. This should not be allowed, for it is wrong to kill a species of animals that are living their lives. But their lives seem to be decided by the humans. And the decision is to kill the bears off. People should not decide whether an animal lives or dies. People should not decide on the fate of other living creature. The bears should live their natural lives, for they have not brought harm to others as the bears remain in their habitat. Bears are beneficial to the environment. These animals keep the forest clean by clearing the forest floor from decaying debris. Bears rip apart logs or plants to find insects. This is good for the decomposition of wood and it controls the insect population. As bears, scavenge around the forest floor, they spread the seeds of plant and trees as they consume flowers, fruits, herbs, and roots. Bears in the state of Florida should be left unharmed and feel free to live as nature intends; bears are beneficial for the environment. We must change Florida Fish & Wildlife Conservation and governor Rick Scott into calling off the bear hunt for good!
