Immediate and total reform of Ohio Family Courts to give parents equal rights to their children in all cases of divorce when both parents are deemed fit. Equal parental rights are to be given for unmarried fathers and mothers who are deemed fit. This petition requires the Ohio Family Court's to presume equal (50/50) allocation of physical custody of children regardless of gender. The bill will order the court to begin with the premise that a minor child shall spend approximately equal amounts of time with each parent. This proposed bill would also require the court to expedite all matters concerning equal parenting time when both parents are deemed fit.

The "BEST INTEREST OF THE CHILD" is best applied in when the father and mother have equal time with child. All new research points to that children are far better off mentally, emotionally and physically when both parents are equally involved in a child's life.

Removing a child out of the courts jurisdiction without the consent of the other parent shall be prohibited.

All domestic cases involving parenting time previous to passage of this proposed legislation shall be allowed to be reopened without prejudice.

Cases of domestic violence, criminal activity, etc. will be handled by the Family Court or Criminal Court depending on the appropriate situation.
