Bring our Volleyball Coach back to Hannan Jr/Sr High

After last year's head coach transferred schools and left us without a coach, A teacher bravely stepped up to be be the new coach. Then, 2 weeks before the start of school and the first Volleyball practice, she stepped down for medical reasons, leaving us with just an assistant coach. We want our coach back, and she is dedicated to her team and wants to come back more than anything!
Laura took pride in coaching the Hannan Volleyball team and never gave up until she was forced too. She worked really hard with these girls on and off the court teaching them what they needed to achieve their goals. She never let them give up on themselves and pushed them to be the best. When things got tough in her own life or conflict on the court she still stuck it out too the very end. When the refs and other teams were making it hard for our girls at sectionals she stood up for them and by doing so upset several people who were just in it to win no matter what the cost and got her thrown out of sectionals. Our girls continued to play their game that night while their coach watched from a tiny window in the door as she stood outside and felt helpless. And even today she is willing to put all that aside and come back to take this girls to sectionals again and earn the championship the honest way...hard work and commitment!!!
I know that there are many frustrations with staff and coaches at this school but please do not bash anyone on here. This is not a vent petition it is a petition to get the positive things noticed about this coach. Thanks again for your cooperation in this matter.
Sign to tell Hannon Jr/Sr High to bring back coach Laura Craig!
I would like to ask you, the Staff at Hannan Jr/Sr High and the Members of the Mason County Board of Education to consider bringing Laura Michelle Craig back as Head Coach of the Lady Cats 2016/2017 Volleyball season.
She was the Head Coach for 2014/2015 and when a teacher took that position in 2015/2016 that did not discourage her. She came back as the assistant coach and was just as dedicated. During sectionals at the end of the season she was told by the Hannan staff that she could no longer coach the girls because of an incident during the final game.
We do not believe standing up for your team when they were treated unfairly was a wrong thing to do. I'm not sure of why it came to this point of her not being able to coach again. We have no coach and it's almost time for season to start so we need her back.
The Head Coach, Laura Hensley, transfered schools and resigned from head coach, then Valorie Wolfor stepped in to be Head Coach and then resigned due to medical reasons. This leaves Eddie Meadows which in 2014/2015 was the assistant coach while Laura Craig was Head Coach. Now that there are no teachers excepting the challenge of being the head coach for Volleyball at Hannan and she was the assistant last season why is it that she is not asked to come back as Head Coach?
She has more than proved herself to this school and these girls that she has what it takes to lead them to victory. This is not only what the school needs, this is what the team wants and Laura as well. Please consider allowing her to maintain and improve what she has started at this school.
