The New York City Police Department (NYPD) made an appeal to the public by releasing a video to social networks and tv news stations, hoping to arrest the man caught by a security camera beating a puppy in an elevator on Aug. 26th, 2012.

In the 35 second videotape, the puppy was kicked seven times, slapped, and then spit on. Video: http://youtu.be/BrK-FdhFINE

On Sept. 8th, 2012, Brian Freeman, 28-year-old Bronx resident was arrested

We ask the New York District Attorney to to prosecute Freemen to the fullest extent of the law, with maxium penalty for the Class A Misdemeanor crime, which is a year in jail, and $1000 fine. Also, please consider making such cruelty cases a felony crime.
