Demand Immediate Closure of Neglectful Zoo

"The Surabaya Zoo – the largest zoo in Indonesia – is facing an investigation by the government due to the death of a lion who allegedly died from strangulation. The zoo has a vast history of neglect, with several animals dying from starvation or animals living in poor health with very little medical care. It has been nicknamed the “Zoo of Death.” We must ensure that this zoo is closed and that the remaining animals are placed in a caring environment."
