Help save Polar

This case has been insufficiently investigated with the authorities stepping up the death sentence of Polar in order to escape full disclosure. This dog is going to be killed in the same state which allowed Michael Vick, the football star, to operate a dog fighting ring for years. Even Michael Vick got a better deal than Polar.

Polar is a deaf American Bulldog who is %u201Csuspected%u201D of being involved in the death of an infant.

No one knows the details as the parents left the child unattended.

%u201C The family wasnt even in the same room, nor are they reachable for comment- they left their house that evening and will not speak to the press. Polar may have been scruffing the baby to move him as she would a puppy. We will never know for sure. This dog has been raised around children, and has never had a prior incident. The baby may have died from positional asphyxiation, and not from something caused by the dog. The dogs deafness is not a likely factor.%u201D

The parents have left town and cannot be reached for comment.

All details surrounding this case are suspect and confusing.

Many advocates around the country have stepped forward to settle the matter and take Polar into official rescue. A law enforcement officer with two deaf dogs has stepped forward to adopt Polar. A pit bull rescue and rehab center will take Polar.

The authorities have refused and have cut off communication.

Please let these same paid authorities know that the nation is watching. This article and fellow animal advocates do not want a dangerous dog released, but do demand the truth and a full investigation.

This same rightful benefit was given to Casey Anthony in the death of her child. Shouldn%u2019t the same rights be given to a family pet held on trumped up and cloudy charges? Please hurry before she is killed perhaps wrongly and based on ill-founded data.

Casey Anthony got a better deal than Polar.

One citizen has tried to get answers and states, %u201CYour phone calls, faxes, and emails will make a difference, and may SAVE POLARS LIFE! Tell them that blaming the dog for the parents non-protectiveness is unacceptable. Ask them to release Polar alive to rescue or a qualified home.%u201D

%u201CThere is power in numbers! They%u2019ve effectively punted my phone calls around, ignored my requests, despite my persistence. Please let them know that the nation is watching.%u201D

We the undersigned believe that Polar deserves the right to a fair trial, just as Michael Vick and Casey Anthony got. There is no proof that this dog actually did anything wrong. There are rescue groups who are willing to take this dog in and find him a good loving home. He deserves a second chance.
Thank you for your consideration, looking forward to a favorable response.
