Ban the Bag in Oregon
We the undersigned, in order to curb our consumption of plastic bags and protect our waterways and wildlife, support the implementation of a ban on single-use plastic shopping bags from retail outlets in Oregon. We further support a surcharge on paper shopping bags to encourage shoppers to use their own reusable shopping bags.
We the undersigned urge the Oregon State Legislature to ban single-use plastic shopping bags from retail outlets in Oregon to protect our wildlife and waterways. We further urge the legislature to adopt a surcharge on paper shopping bags to encourage people to use their own reusable shopping bags.
