Too few people understand that it has now become the job of the defence to prove the accused innocent- and thats in addition to the fact that the case for the prosecution can consist of nothing more than circumstantial evidence which can not be proved false as opposed to the claims of the prosecution and, thereby, the defence loses by default! Furthermore, the proof of guilt often consists of no more than a concensus of opinions formulated in the minds of a few jurors to which the rest simply assent.
