The Beatles worked on "NOW AND THEN" back in 1995, but decided to abort it after only a few days. Since then, Paul McCartney has showed interest in finishing the project.
George Harrison's guitar parts have been recorded back in 1995. Also, the technology is there to lift guitar pieces from other songs George played on, as well as any other tracks or passages from original Beatles recordings. John Lennon's voice and piano are originally on this recording, not to mention this is his composition, so his parts are complete.
Ringo Starr has added some drums, back in 1995, but could finish them up, when he and Paul get together.
Others have taken the raw John Lennon tape recording of "Now And Then" and produced their own version, which had good results. It is now time for Apple and the remaining two Beatles to put out the real thing.
This song is so beautiful and deserves to be released.

I understand the sentiment behind this, but I must say this petition is awe inspiring. Don't you think that the remaining Beatles and their families already know that Beatles fans would desperately love to have one final Beatles song? Therefore, there is a great need for this petition. You cannot force an artist to produce an work of art, however, it seems you are trying to inspire with this brilliantly conceived petition. You do have the RIGHT to pursue this petition and have this song finished or released. Therefore this petition is quite worthwhile. Paul and Ringo already know that every Beatles fan desperately wants to have this song completed and released.
