Don't Let Coal Waste Pollution Kill Whales and Dolphins!

According to an article from the New York Times on mercury in fish, "the largest source of mercury contamination in the United States is coal-fueled power plant emissions." When dirty coal is burned, the waste water is pushed out into lakes, stream and oceans for fish to consume.

Mercury most affects the animals at the top of the food chain -- whales, dolphins and tuna. But even the smallest fish are affected, and many of those contaminated fish make it to American dinner tables.

Please sign this petition to stop Big Coal from poisoning our oceans and killing whales, dolphins and other ocean creatures.
I support moving away from coal energy and to alternative sources. Our dependence on dirty coal energy is destroying the health of our oceans, our wildlife, and our children. I want those with power to stop big coal companies from continuing to profit from the degradation of their customer's health and the degradation of our wildlife and ocean habitat.
