When Ronald Reagan took office, he promptly removed the solar panels that Jimmy Carter had installed on the White House. As taxpayers, tell president Obama that we need the solar panels put back as an investment in clean energy.

It would also be of great interest if turbines (the cylindrical type that go on buildings; not the windmill type) also be installed for colder, less sunny times of year.

Dear President Obama,

We, the undersigned, request that you please have solar panels reinstalled on the White House. Jimmy Carter had solar panels installed during his presidency and when Ronald Reagan took office, he promptly had them removed.

As tax payers, we ask for you to make the investment of providing the White House with clean energy for our generation and many to come.
