Animal Abuse-Changing Pa.Laws

  • by: Dianne Lynn Elko

Our Pa. senate will convene in Jan.2011,and we must get all of our signatures in-if we want to help our innocent abused animals in Pa. The law must be changed, too many animals are being abused, and the abusers are getting away with this.We need specifically change Title 18,subsection 5511,subsections c and 0.1 and we need an animal abuse registry in Pa.
Every day animal abuse continues is one day too many.We must start treating the animal abusers as the criminals that they are, even on first time offenses. It is very well documented that animal abusers do NOT stop with animals. Therefore even if you are not an 'animal person' you should still support this petition and what it stands for.Our innocent and voiceless are our animals and our children.
This change in the Pa. law gives animal abusers more jail time, more counseling therapy, more fines and less of a chance for them to repeat their first offenses. It gives Pa. an animal abuse registry that is so desperately needed in ALL states. It also gives the authorities that respond to the initial scene more authority at that time, which can be very crucial to that animal and the situation at that time.
We are way beyond due for these changes in Pa. and all states, please help me to help our voiceless by signing and sharing this petition,we are very very close to making this succeed.Thank you.
We the petition signers are ready for these much needed changes to occur in the state of Pa. and with the hopes that all other states will follow. We want our innocent, voiceless animals to stop suffering needlessly at the hands of these people. We want to help the abusers also with the help they need.We are in dire need of an animal abuse registry for Pa.Thank you for your time regarding these very important issues--the petition signers.
