Why should we be forced to buy water at airports??

Passengers are not allowed to bring drinks past the security checkpoint.  Many people cannot afford to buy water at the airport and would gladly bring a refillable water bottle when they travel.  Unforturnately, most airport water fountains are not designed to allow for filling of reusable drink bottles.  If the airports were required to replace or retrofit the current fountains with gooseneck dispensers in addition to the standard dispenser, a financial hardship for many is eleminated and the amount of plastic bottles is greatly reduced.

There are too few water fountains in airports to support current travel numbers.  Also, the water fountains need to located in areas that are easily accessable and not behind a wall or on an inside corner that is not visible.  The water fountain should be clearly marked so people can find it easily.
