Save the African Elephants
Did you know that at the beginning of the 20th century there were a few million elephants in the world and now there are half as many just because of poaching. Also ivory is worth more than gold!! Thats one of the reasons they're disappearing so quickly. Ivory trade is illegal in America and we hope that will happen in China too because in China, 70% of the people are buying it.
Plus there is a bird called the Oxpecker that eats bugs off of the Rhino and Elephant so if the elephant dies out half of its food would disappear.
Another threat to the elephant is habitat loss. One more threat is the climate change and that would equal hotter and drier land. Poorer foraging also threatens the survival for the calf. Would you like the elephant gone? Would you be happy without the elephant?
WE KNOW WE WOULDN`T!
We don’t want people killing them for their tusks and stop poaching . Take care of the environment where they can live. So please start caring more for elephants!
