In 2016, The NB Christmas Committee was formed and established. Together, we created a beautiful parade of lights last year, and planned on doing it every year after. However, due to new city rules and regulations, we now need to go before City Council to obtain approval for closing major roads. These roads are included within our route. With complete understanding, we are would like to justify choosing a route that runs downtown, as our route did last year. Most major city events, family functions, holiday festivities, honorable gatherings, and community prayers all happen downtown New Braunfels. It is NO secret that some of our community’s favorite past times have occurred around the plaza. Being that we are trying to create a new family, festive tradition, for years to come, it only seems fitting that the parade run through the plaza as well. At this time, we are gathering signatures to show that we have support from the community and the families from within, and to hopefully show proof that this is the perfect location for our parade. We would appreciate every signature we can obtain. With every year that passes, we can only become more organized and better. Thank you for being so supportive!!
