Walk your bike on Hoboken sidewalk; use the bike lanes to ride.

Hoboken is a great city but it has a growing issue with cyclists who ride on the sideswalks and speed along those sidewalk forcing pedestrian to evaded them. In recent year thew city of Hoboken has implemented bike lane and have signage of their willness to provide safe areas for cyclists but these cyclists continuously force pedestrians to yeld them. The definition of sidewalk is in the actual word SIDE ( meaning to the adjacent to the roadways and streets) WALK and (area designated for pedestrian to safely go about the day where they are not in fear of vechiles). Bikes are a mechanical devise which speeds up the user. By law the cyclist is required to wear protective head gear and have a visible means to be seen ( reflector, flags and or florescent gear on while riding. Cyclist are require to use hand signals while ride on city streets. Those same arm signals who the drive of and vehicle must use. In some states your are required to register your bike just like cars, motorcycle truck etc... But cyclists of Hoboken act as though they are vehicles and pedestrian aka a sub group of both. Breaking laws by crossing intersections either against the cross light or signage. Cyclists are need to be registered and also need to be required by law to be designated as a vehicle and be held accountable for the ways they abuse the law and common sense. Child with parent or guadians who are riding bike with whel smaller than 24" are exempt . youths who are not accompanied by an adult and or have whells 24"  must follow the law . Lets keep Hoboken the great City it is for all of it's citizens.
