Fix The Rae Dunn Dilemma!!

If you're a fan of farmhouse & rustic decor, there's no doubt you've heard of Rae Dunn. Her mugs, plates, bowls, etc. are all a huge hit! Maybe you're lucky and are able to get your hands on them at your local stores. Maybe you buy yours online by someone who resells them. Maybe you're the one who wipes out the stores and sells them online taking advantage of your clientele on the pricing of them. Whatever the case, there is obviously a need for more Rae Dunn in everyone's lives.

Today I stopped by the local Marshall's and spoke with an employee about where they keep their Rae Dunn. She kindly told me where they are usually located, and she said "I'm sorry we've already been wiped out today". As I was talking to her trying to decide if it would be a waste of time even trying to come in and find them, she told me that these shoppers come in lines and bombard the store all looking for the same thing- Rae Dunn Clay. To make matters worse, she also told me there is a big chance they will no longer carry the product because of this issue. Wait, what?!?!

I was in shock to say the least. I knew there was a craze about them. Then I learned about the outrageous prices they are resold for, but I had no idea that it went to this level. It's safe to say that unless I become pretty aggressive, there is not a big chance for me to further my collection. That's no fair.

There are "collectors" and  "shelf clearers" the difference is that collectors often look for themselves or a few friends. Shelf clearers grab everything they can, and then mark them up to ridiculous prices. Truth be told, they're probably not paying taxes on that extra income either. All the while, true collectors are left frustrated and discouraged. We just want it to be fair for everyone that we may ALL display this decor in our home, and not see the greedy people get all the good luck. Let the Rae Dunn love spread all around the world!

One last issue that seems to be the biggest concern is that we believe the problem lies within the store with the employees themselves. Often times they are not putting things on the floor as first come first served like it SHOULD be. No, we feel like they are holding and hiding items for friends or family. Purchasing things on their breaks and walking it out to their cars. Recently, we discovered that an employee at our local Marshalls had posted a Thanksgiving bowl and platter on a local Facebook for sale site. These two items were posted for $150, and I have proof of that. Proof that she works at Marshalls before she deleted it from her bio. This has to stop. Your employees are rude and short and impatient with us when we just want enough Rae Dunn to go around for everyone. Up the production, send more to ALL the stores and not more to some versus the others. Flood the market so that there is no longer any room for this selfish behavior. Offer online purchases, send more to stores, and PLEASE for the love of Rae Dunn- limit the amount that people can buy in a day or week. Let everyone have a chance to purchase.

I urge you, Rae Dunn & resellers, to offer an online website, limit the number of purchases, up your production, and send more to ALL the stores so that we ALL can purchase these amazing products! This in turn will calm the craze of greedy store bound upsellers mistreating collectors, also preventing the shelf clearers and unethical employees from ruining our day with their shady way of life.

Let us all have a little Rae Dunn Collection in our homes 🏡 ♥️

Rae Dunn and Resellers, please offer an online website to purchase these amazing products at a reasonable price!

Thank you!!
