On 11th February, a lovely FB user named Anthony started a nice status about a friend and fellow FB user who was auctioning a meal with himself at a swanky restaurant for the benefit of a worthwhile charity, namely SHELTER... https://donate.shelter.org.uk/b/my-donation?
All went well and the auction was a success. Since then, however, everyone tagged in the status has received around 60 spam pictures and requests in their timelines, over and over again, despite everyone untagging themselves and requesting never to see it again.
The auction is over, can you please kill the posting cluttering up everyone's timeline. Or alternatively, donate to Shelter... https://donate.shelter.org.uk/b/my-donation?
Dear FB
Please can you look into the weird multiple posting of an innocuous charity request. We would like to avoid this sort of thing in the future.
Warning, don't click on this image unless you are FB admin... as it may trigger flashbacks of the event in question. The man featured has asked for this image not to appear in the public part of this petition.
