It took a personal incident involving a snare trap to make me realize they are torture. No living thing should have to be strangled and cut around its neck in order to be trapped and then later killed. Find another way to trap and kill what you want. My goal is to make snare traps illegal so animals like my dog don't get strangles and left to die. Technically if you have a trap set you are suppose to check them everyday. Having my dog trapped in one for up to 11 days makes me think most people don't even check them every 3 days. For any animal to be choking and getting their neck cut for even an hour is to long. My family and I are avid sportsmen and we all want to see snare traps gone!
