I am starting this online petition to reopen Bishop Auckland General Hospital to its full capacity. All wards must be available to all patients. A&E also to be reopened to all emergencies so people do not have to go to Darlington Memorial Hospital and University Hospital of North Durham for urgent health needs.
I have been a patient of Bishop Auckland Hospital for over 30+ years -- for most of my life. I know how everyone feels frustrated and deprived that we no longer have a general hospital in our community. We now have to travel 12 miles to receive health care-- it is simply important that we have our hospital back open to its full capabilities.
Please can we all sign this petition and try to open up this terrific hospital once again?
I know that every member of our community wants to reopen our Beloved Hospital. With every signature, I hope we can achieve our goals. We need this hospital reopened to all wards for all of our sick patients to be cared for like I was for over 30years + and we also want to reopen the A&E department to all emergencies. So let's give the department of health this petition and hopefully we all can achieve our goals we have a hospital once again to be proud of.
