Demand an End to Customer Bullying at the Cornwall Post Office!

On Saturday, April 14th 2018, I entered my town Post Office to purchase postage for my tax returns and was APPALED by the bullying behavior/treatment I encountered by a postal worker.

After waiting on a long line, in a packed room, the worker refused to help me until I wrote my return address on the envelope. I asked to pay the postage first so I didn't have to wait on line again and said I'd fill out my address at the back table after.

He refused saying, "That's not how it's done" and started calling other customers behind me. Finally I begged, still at the counter, "Please - just tell me the weight then and I'll affix my own stamps." He reluctantly did so after multiple pleas and then practically threw the envelopes back at me.

This type of horrendous, control-tactic "service" has been experienced time and again by many of my unsuspecting neighbors - folks with endless stories of mistreatment and verbal-lashings toward elderly customers and mothers, among others.

I, myself, am 6 months pregnant.

Many of my neighbors have expressed that they've complained to regional offices, postmasters, etc. to no avail.

Others have even taken their postal business out of town to avoid the mistreatment.

This is unacceptable.

Please join me in voicing your outrage and opposition - in hopes SOMETHING finally changes - by signing this petition.

Shame on you Cornwall Post Office. Your customers deserve better.
