Dallas Needs "A Park for Skateboarding"

  • by: Kennedy Cantrell
  • recipient: We need a multi-recreational facility that accommodates and is legal for skateboarding

With all the outerlaying suburbs such as Allen, Lewsiville, Irving, Arlington, Grand Prairie and so forth having skateparks, how is it that Dallas hasn't created such a facility for such purposes? But as many of you who might sign this petition might know, that we enjoy skateboarding in the city streets. Skate Parks can feel confining to our abiility to freely roam around on our skateboards, and thats why I am asking for the city of Dallas to create such a facility, but as an ordinary park. Such as a Klyde Warren in essence, but with obstacles where we can freely and legally skate board.
