Put padding on the Splash Pad

ATTENTION!!

This happened at the splash pad July 3rd 2017 in Wilmington at Denver park Vanessa face planted and cracked her head on the concrete the reason I'm pointing this out is because things could've been a lot worse. Instead of the splash pad being made of the actual padding like most splash pads are made out of this one is made out of concrete don't get me wrong I am very thankful that Wilmington put in a splash pad but this is just one of many serious injuries that could occur if your child was to fall and slip at that splash pad and hit the concrete. I will be writing a letter to the city asking them if there is anyway that padding could be put on top of that concrete to keep for more injuries happening to my children or anyone else in the communities children. All it's going to take is for one slip and one of them hit the concrete bust their teeth out or have to get stitches or have a more serious injury to their heads or any part of their bodies I'm not here to complain I'm here to speak for my daughter who could've had a more serious injury then A bump on the head and a very very bad migraine Wilmington is going to have lawsuit after lawsuit if this is not fixed once again I am very thankful and so happy that my kids have something like this to go to during the summer to cool off but this is one of the many bugs that they are going to need to fix before someone is seriously hurt. My aunt and I sat in an emergency room for a couple hours tonight checking her for A concussion. I ask that other parents please follow what I am doing and ask that the splash pad to be made safer for especially for the smaller kids. A layer of padding could make a huge difference!
