Hi all,
I started another petition a few days ago raising awareness for all chronic pain conditions, that aims to legalize medical marijuana worldwide. (http://www.thepetitionsite.com/182/226/057/medical-marijuana-for-chronic-pain-patients-worldwide/ ) In there,I wrote about how I would not stop until we all are granted the same accessibility worldwide (medication wise!),cause it's about time we stop perpetuating the dogma that any life circumstance (such as which segment of the world you live in) can determine whether or not we deserve proper treatment and it's about time we let it be known that,no matter what, we are all worthy of the same human rights, let alone the same chances. This additional petition aims to raise awereness about TN and its ("related"?) conditions and the yet distressing struggles of a proper diagnosis. I got sick with Trigeminal Neuralgia and started showing my early symptoms back in December 2013. From then on, a lot has happened : change in the pain and all the distincts symptoms and their patterns for start, but I also underwent a lot of tests, meds, treatments options, and surgeries. I've been misdiagnosed more times then I could possibily remember, and I've also been diagnosed with Fibromyalgia in late 2014,in addiction to TN. I've been treated in up to 4 states ( England, Italy, Arkansas, and Maryland), as of now I relapsed back in January after a couple of months of remission, which, thank God, wasn't my longest. Though I got diagnosed with TN almost right away, many people with TN get diagnose with TMD,or others chronic diseases instead. I'm not saying they can't have both or more of them, there's actually a significant percentage of TN fellow suffers that suffer from more distinctives diseases combined. What I'm saying and what I want to shed some light on is the fact that TN,along with many others countless chronic pain disease, still lacks on having proper tools to be diagnosed,no matter the amount of tests you undergo or all the kinds of differential specialist you get to see. And,I believe that,at this point,I can tell for sure different countries have different modus operandi, even when it comes to the diagnosis. And,even when you actually do get diagnosed with TN right away, they might lack on investigating the legit cause then,as TN has so many different causes and, while they're looking, they might find something that they identify as the cause and promptly, out of logic, stop looking for another one, afterward. I'm doing this because no human being should be misdiagnosed. Nothing should be rulled out just because of the barely ephemeral odds, when we know there are plenty of things, happening in the world, against all odds. No patient should be only treated for TN while they neglet their Fibro,or whatever else, because chronic pain diseases do not progress at a steady pace, whether or not we acknowledge it. They all are different, they have different circles of remission etc etc. No patient should be kept in the dark for three years about their tumor,or their aneurysm, compressing the Trigeminal Nerve, just because some Doctors have previously identified one, two,or three likely TN causes.
TN can have many causes. Though some of them are yet to be acknowledged, here are the ones we've come to know : The trigeminal nerve's function is disrupted. Usually, the problem is contact between a normal blood vessel — in this case, an artery or a vein — and the trigeminal nerve at the base of your brain. This contact puts pressure on the nerve and causes it to malfunction. Trigeminal neuralgia could also occur as a result of aging, or it can be related to multiple sclerosis or a similar disorder that damages the myelin sheath protecting certain nerves. Trigeminal neuralgia can be caused by a tumor or an aneurysm compressing the trigeminal nerve. Some people may experience trigeminal neuralgia due to a brain lesion or other abnormalities. In other cases, surgical injuries, stroke or facial trauma may be responsible for trigeminal neuralgia.
Here are instead all the known triggers, responsible for a TN attack in TN fellow suffers: Shaving,touching your face,eating,drinking,kissing,laughing,brushing your teeth,talking,putting on makeup,encountering a breeze,smiling,washing your face,lack of sleep,light touch,hayfever,chewing food,barometric pressure,weather,hot food,hot drinks,cold food,cold drinks,change in sleeping patterns,air conditioning,driving,getting sick,sinus problems,certain sounds,burning sun,direct sunligh,getting a cold,sneezing,turning your head,emotional changes,anxiety,stress. Eating and talking are the ones most likely to trigger an attack,being those we do a lot during a single day.
Thank you so much, feel free to PM me and help me by keeping this petition at its best, over time. Every single signature counts, just like every share or RT helps, Any tip is deeply appreciated. Thank you all so much, let's stop chronic pain from being in charge and get all the medical attention we need! Let's raise awareness any way we can, shed light on the matter, and make it all equal and accessible everywhere. We are all worthy of the same chances. I would not stop until we all are granted the same accessibility worldwide, cause it's about time we stop perpetuating the dogma that any life circumstance (such as which segment of the world you live in) can determine whether or not we deserve proper treatment and it's about time we let it be known that,no matter what, we are all worthy of the same human rights, let alone the same chances. Granted,I'm aware it will take a very long time to get there, whether it end up being months or years. But,I've got nothing to lose, only to gain, from myself and from the people that will support me on this long ride. We have survived worse and nothing can ever keep us from battling for our chances at a pain free life, and beating the odds to enter a full remission.

Here is my gofoundme link ; https://www.gofundme.com/2cjzcgk I hate to do this but all my trips, meds,Drs's bills, treatments, and surgeries, have been paid so far by myself with the money I set aside for college during 4 years of full time hard work, and by my family toward the end of it,and after my latest surgery in the US we ran out of everything and I cannot afford to pay the clinical trial I just got in,let alone my upcoming (and last!) surgery. If you can't donate a share or a retweet will help me deeply and it will be truly as equally and as genuinely appreciated.
Thank you all.
