Maybe some of you have noticed, maybe not, but Care2, this very site,which claims to "care" about animal welfare and environmental issues, now has Procter & Gamble as a sponsor.
Proctor & Gamble is one of the nation's largest distributors of houshold, beauty, and food products. They own products such as Glad and Covergirl. They are also notorious for their cruel animal testing practices. They claim that they are trying to eliminate this practice, yet have continued to test certain ingredients on animals for years. The only thing this compnay cares about is the almighty dollar.
So why would Care2 have them as a sponsor, when there is literally thousands of companies, that are cruelty free and environmentally sound,that they could have chosen to sponser them?
It is hypocrisy at it's most wretched, and urge every care2 member to sign this petition
