Lockers instead of back packs, and chronic back pain

The federal Consumer Product Safety Commission calculated that carrying a 12-pound backpack to and from school and lifting it 10 times a day for an entire school year puts a cumulative load on youngsters’ bodies of 21,600 pounds — the equivalent of six mid-sized cars.

You could get many back pains as you get older from carrying a 12 pound bag. Most students have a  bag that weighs about 10-25 pounds. If we could get lockers, we wouldn't have a chance of getting back pains, diseases, etc.

Do you want a bad back, or a locker, or digital books to lighten the load. Lockers are cheap. Back pain may never go away. Please sign my petition and help me and my fellow students have a healthy back.

        Thanks for your support!!

Dear Mr. Jay Wheeler,

Please allow for school lockers to be provided, donated, or bought, in Celebration K-8 schools.
