“[I] take the cash out of the ATM, and hand it back.”

ABC News reported there have been 7-Eleven franchisees found performing “cash back” scams in Australia.

After being paid their full award, the “cash back” scam forces employees to give back part of their wages.  Anna (protected identity), an employee and international student, explained that for every hour she works, she gives back about $11… and stated another employee was fired because they were going to report their boss.

Anna has given more than $6,000 of her wages back over the past year.

Australia Department of Employment and Fair Work Commission,

I strongly urge you to end "cash back" scams for good. Innocent people are being tricked out of receiving their fair pay.
