This petition is to STOP Canada from having any involvement if there is a War between U.S.A and Iran. As you all know, it looks as though Israel and USA will be a war soon with Iran. I believe that the war in Iraq was an illegal war, it cost many lives. Lives that should not have been lost. USA had no right to go into Iraq; they had no proof at all of "Chemicals of Mass destruction ". It was an excuse it seems, to invade another country for its Oil, and had no right to be there now that Saddam Hussein is dead. They found No chemical or biological agents, no “Weapons of Mass Destruction “It’s time to go. Afghanistan should be left to its own people now. The dismantling of Al Qaeda terrorist organization in Afghanistan has been accomplished to satisfactory as far as most the world is concerned 911 has been paid in full by the Afghanistan people after 10 years of war , the longest war in US history , Osama bin Laden has been killed at the hands of USA ,Its Over ! All Soldiers should leave and go home. There is no reason for our Soldiers to be in Afghanistan one more day, that war should have been over long ago, it’s time for healing. It seems clear that what the USA President Obama is doing in the Middle East and as a peaceful country Canada should stay out of it, our Canadian soldiers should not be put in harm’s way for another country's relish for war and Oil. Canada should do all we can to avert from going to war ,and stay as a peaceful Country, this is why Canada does not have One Nuclear Weapon .Canada is a major exporter of uranium and of radioisotopes for medical and industrial purposes. It has also built CANDU nuclear power plants in a number of countries. These exports are all subject to stringent nuclear export and nuclear non-proliferation policies. A key aspect of these policies is the international Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons, usually referred to as the Non-Proliferation Treaty or NPT. All nuclear power stations in Canada are comprehensively monitored to ensure that materials cannot be diverted for use in nuclear weapons. Since then the domestic program has been focused solely on peaceful uses and strong policies have been adopted to ensure that any export of nuclear technology, equipment or materials does not contribute to nuclear weapons. So think about that for just a minute, Canada has not one Nuclear Weapon, and it will not let its minerals be sold to make them, I'm proud of that .At this time that we live in we need to look at the Earth and find a way to fix the damage we have all don, and not go to a War that has no sense to it at all, because its true motive is greed.
