Pets all over the country are being killed by Officers of the law. We would like the Sevier County Officers to be trained to handle House Hold Animals in a non lethal Manner. It is Our duty as pet owners to protect our pets just as we would our children. There are many different ways to handle a animal Like first to pepper spray or tase the animal before you pull your weapon and kill.Animals have a instinct to protect there families just as a human does.

Yesterday me and one of my youngest daughters walked the streets of Gatlinburg Tn and got over 65 Signatures in less then a hr. Thank you so much for your help in this matter. This is nothing Bad directed toward Officers of the law this is for there safety as well as our pets.

All over the country animals are being killed by officers. Our pets are only doing what comes natural to them by protecting there family and property. There are many different ways to detain a animal like officers carrying a tranquilizer gun, using a taser on the animal or using pepper spray. These methods are used on wild life such as bears here in the Great Smoky Mtns why cant this be done to prevent killing someones beloved pet. Thanks for your support Meshell Eastham
