This show is a blatant promotion and glorification of deforestation and should be canceled immediately. The world’s rain forests could completely vanish in a hundred years at the current rate of deforestation and this show is doing nothing but promoting this awful act.
With deforestation comes habitat loss, detrimental changes to the ecosystem, a loss of trees that help to clean the air we breath, and so much more. Trees help to regulate our ecosystem and if we continue to lose them at this rate our forests will become barren deserts and climate change will be irreversible. These "Axe Men" are glorifying the act of tearing down our precious forests for nothing more than ratings on a TV show. This show is not in the best interest of the people and should no longer be shown, or promoted by a company that simultaneously has an entire Earth Day campaign for a better, greener future. This show depicts the hypocrisy of the History Channel and I encourage you all to sign so that we can take steps to advocating for a greener future.
