Tenants of Preiss Steele Petition Request For Adequate Parking For Tenants and Guests

There are 80 residential units at Preiss Steele Place, however there are only 35 (27 regular and 8 handicap parking spaces available) in comparison to 80 residential units within the property. The initial opening of the property has not created sufficient parking spaces for tenants and guests in accordance with the number of units at Priess Steele Place. The $200.00 violation fine places financial and emotional direst upon tenants and guests as a majority of the tenants are living on fixed incomes. This a situation beyond our control as tenants and there needs to be some type of leniency in terms of the insufficient parking spaces that should coincide with the number of residential units. For the benefit of the tenants we ask that you would please sign this petition in our favor to present to management to help us reach our goal.
As a solution: Please provide available parking on the opposite side of the building where the rental office is located to help alleviate the repercussions of the severe towing fines upon the tenants of Preiss Steele Place.
