Let's get JT's new stadium happening, as he suggested at the Grand Final.

This petition is important to all members of our community who have an interest in sport. Sport can superceed all sorts of cultural barriers, and give the gift of inclusion to children, youth and adults.

In order to have this kind of inclusive enironment we need a 'space' that invites participation. Thus think of the big picture stadium, where the elite sporting events can be hosted and then think of the trickle-down effect where other events can take place: ie: school sports, club sports, entertainment, etc, and then think of how beneficial this would be if such a stadium was built in Townsville. If you can imagine the benefits of JT's vision as he espoused after the Grand Fianl , then join this petition and let get it happening.
