Back when Mayor Drapeau was in power Montreal was a thriving metropolis. Montreal is still a great city, but, it can be much greater. We want to begin to take steps towards making Montreal the greatest city on the planet - a place where every person on earth wants to visit and many want to live.
My vision is of a City-State which is dissociated (seceded) from both Quebec and Canada and is an entity unto itself (much like Monaco or Singapore) where best practices are used in every area of life. Residents of Montreal will be 'Citizens of the World' - as we are all one people. Our goal will be to create an environment where every member of our society can thrive rather than merely survive.
