SAVE URDU (A Level) qualifications in the UK.

Edexcel have announced that they will not be running GCE and A Level Urdu qualifications in the UK. This means schools and colleges will not be able to provide this option, resulting in a further decline in the language skills of Urdu language users.

Urdu is at fourth position as a world language, so we cannot sit back and watch such a beautiful and useful language just be wiped off the education awards and board.

By signing this petition you be supporting the need for the provision of GCE and A Level Urdu Qualifications in the UK. This will allow choice for the students in the 21st Century and hopefully precedence a stance for growth rather than decline of the Urdu language.
