Ban the Sale of Cosmetics Tested on Animals in Canada

Tell the House of Commons that Canadians don’t want cosmetics that have been tested on animals.

Cosmetics tested on animals anywhere in the world can no longer be marketed in the European Union as of this month, which will save animals from brutal pain and suffering.

Animal testing causes unimaginable suffering as rabbits and other animals have chemicals dripped in their eyes or spread on their delicate skin. Swollen eyes, skin rashes and organ damage are the ugly hidden secrets of a beauty industry that has dragged its feet on ending animal testing. There are thousands of ingredients available for use - there is no ethical excuse for animal testing.

Canada must stand with the European Union and support this landmark change, one that will spare countless animals from pain, torture, and death.

We demand that Canada stand up for helpless animals and work to ban animal testing in the cosmetics industry.

To the Canadian House of Commons,

We do not support the sale of cosmetics that have been tested on animlas.  We pledge to support only cruelty free companies who value the lives of all creatures from mice to dogs and cats.

We demand that you follow the important steps the European Union has taken to protect animals from the inhumae practices used to test ingredients and cosmetics.  We believe that there are solutions and wont stand for complacency.
