we've got signatures, help us get to 1,000 by January 24, 2015
If we can get to 20,000 signatures, this petition will carry some real clout. especially after what Sea Shepherd has just witnessed in Denmark! Only a few more weeks left till I send it to the Australian Government.
In the past few days, Sea shepherd has evidence to show the protected Minkie whale being killed in the name of "research" by the Japanese. Help us to end this outrageous practise.
The Australian people and people from all nations decry the senseless and cruel slaughter of the beautiful of whales and dolphins in the Faroe Islands each year. Please sign this petition to draw attention to this practise which still continues annually. Please add you voice to the ground swell of voices from around the world to end this butchery now.
Sea Shepherd has also been working to put an end to what they call "the grind" where countless whales and dolphins are also slaughtered each year in the Faroe Islands region. http://www.seashepherd.org/ferocious-isles/faeroes-facts.html
These killings are disgusting and intolerable and we are calling upon the current Australian Prime Minister to use his influence to express our concern at the upcoming G20 summit later this year in Australia, particularly after the wonderful efforts the Sea Shepherd have made in recent times in the southern oceans defending the whales against the Japanese. In particular we would like Mr Abbott to call upon modern members of the Danish Monarchy, particularly our Crown Princess Mary, to step in and use the Danish constitution to force the Danish government to put an end to these violent practises.
