i have been through a long rough road, i had not had regular medical attention for 13 years. i don't go to a dr. unless i have no other choice. hence i hadn't proper dental care either. A friend told me To go to Hatford Hospital dental clinic and i did, because alot of my teethe were loose and i was in a panic. they assured me i had plenty of bone and with some cleaning and attention they should be ok. Then they made a night guard for me to protect them from my grinding them at night. I kept the teeth.Stress. All was fine untill i brought the night guard back and he decided to grind down some of my teethe with out telling me. When i came back, i told him it messed up my bite and asked that he not do that again. That day he filled a cavaty and did a great job. The next time i came back he gave me so much novacaine that i couldnt tell what he was doing. 5 hrs. Later when the novacaine wore off , i found he grinded down more teethe on the other side! And now my bottom teethe touch the top teethe and my bite is way off and my jaw and gums and teethe are all in pain. I called to talk to him and he deniied doing it. I have the impression he made for the night gaurd that shows my teethe befre he grinded them! Then i didnt feel safe to even come back to him to fix it since he did it and then lied about it! I called the hospital for help i have told my story five times and still no-one has called me to help. I just want anther dentist at the hospital to fix what he broke. No response. I grew up middle class and was lucky to always have my needs met , but having this experiance of being ignored medically in this situation made me think how many others were taken advatage of and then ignored when they begged for help? Is this how hartford hospital takes care of the need
